Jamshedpur, Jan 7: Dr. Ajay Kumar agreed to take back the bodyguards on Tuesday, Jan 7 after repeated request from SSP Amol V Homkar and City SP Karthik S.
It may be noted that the MP of Jamshedpur Dr Ajay Kumar had removed his body guards after requesting the senior superintendent of police Amol Venukant Homkar on Saturday, Jan 4 due to rising crime in the city and he did not wanted security as the city was witnessing a spurt in crimes like murder and loot.
He on the occasion had said the district administration should not provide security to him as they had failed to control crime and protect the people of the city.
From the day police administration was very worried. On Tuesday, Jan 7 SSP and City SP after having a long with Dr. Ajay at his residence in Circuit House and urged him to take back the guards as it is becoming very difficult for the local Police Station to provide him security where ever he goes to attend any function.
On crowded areas it becomes merely impossible to provide security and said that change is not possible in a day and said that within 10-15 days we will bring about some change.
SSP and City SP sought cooperation from Dr. Ajay to help curb crime in the city. After the meeting bodyguards were sent to Dr. Ajay�s place by district administration.
