DPS students show display talent at Elocution & Declamation contest�

Jamshedpur, Sept 11: Dayanand Public School�(DPS) on Friday organized Annual Intra School Elocution & Declamation contest�in�English & Hindi.

Students from Std IV to XII participated in the competition. The students were divided into 4 groups. In Group IV�- �(IV �V), Group III�-�(VI � VII), Group II-(VIII � IX) and Group I-(X � XII).

The two top participants according to their performances were awarded with certificates and medals. In English Group IV (Std IV � V)-Sanapala Reshma and Shruti Kumari were awarded first prize.

In Group III (Std VI � VII) Neha Kumari won the first prize while Subhojeet Biswas was declared the Runner-up. In Group II (Std VIII � IX) Ankita Mishra was awarded the 1st Prize while Asma was the Runner-up.

In Group I Declamation (Std X � XII) Atul Ankit was the winner while Gagandeep Kaur was the Runner-up. Judges for the event were Ms. Avinash Kaur � Church School Beldih and Subrato Roy � Narbheram Hansraj English School.

In Hindi- Group IV (Std IV � V) Neha Kumari woon the 1st Prize and Sikha Kumari was the runners-up. In Group III (Std VI � VII) Riya Kumari won the 1st Prize while Riya Gupta got the Runner-up trophy.

In Group II (Std VIII � IX) Shivam Kumar won the first prize while Riya Chatterjee was the Runner-up.

In Group I (Std X � XII)- Aliya- won the 1st Prize while Puja Kumari was declared the Runner-up. Judges for Hindi contest were Aditya Kr. Anuresh from Loyola School and Ms. Sadhana Srivastav � of Tagore Academy.
