Jamshedpur, June 27: The 17-year-old Sudhanshu Kumar, a student of Dayanand Public School who was admitted at Tata Main Hospital(TMH) on June 22 with gun-shot injuries, was released from the hospital on Monday afternoon.
But shockingly the pellet of the 7.65 mm pistol is still stuck inside his spine, which is matter of great concern for the parents.
Devendra Kumar Gupta, father of the gun-shot victim, said that the Tata Main Hospital management has referred his son to CMC Vellore for getting the pellet removed.
“Doctors at the Tata Main Hospital has referred Sudhanshu to CMC Vellore, he will be staying at home at least for the next five-six days. During this period we will have to arrange for the train tickets and also money for the treatment at the hospital,” said Gupta, who is a practicing lawyer in the Jamshedpur civil court.
Gupta, when queried, said though his son has survived from the bullet injury in the lungs at the Tata Main Hospital, the danger will continue to remain until the pellet is removed.
