DPS Music Teacher Swept Away in Jonha Falls

Ranchi, June 20: Delhi Public School (DPS) music teacher Michael Ghosh was swept away by the strong current at Jonha Falls on Thursday, June 19. A 30-member team from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been deployed for the search operation, which continued amid rising water levels and a powerful current.

Ghosh had visited the falls with three friends and was at the upper part of the Jeep Line section when he slipped and got carried away by the water. The accident occurred in front of his friends, who immediately alerted the local authorities. Despite efforts by police, NDRF personnel, and divers, Ghosh has not yet been found.
