Domicile policy draft to be finalized on June 26: CM

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren addressing a public meeting at the SaheedVedi grounds in Nirsa today called upon the youth to take advantage of the state government plans and play an important role in the development of Jhrakhand.

He said that in July 18,000 teachers were going to be appointed and alongside process of appointment of 40,000 is going to be started.

He said that to include the �moolvasis� in the appointment process an all party meeting has been convened to finalise the draft of the domicile policy on June 26.

He said that for last thirteen years the youth had been ignored and the present is striving to get the cooperation of the youth. He said that the government was committed to provide employment to youth both in urban and rural areas. The government has increased the pension amount under the social security schemes by Rs 200.

He said that Coal India Limited has been carrying out mining areas in 29,000 acres but the state has not got its due compensation of Rs 50,000 crores.

If the amount had been received development projects and schemes at the panchayat level and also for self employment could have been started. He said that Nirsa was a block of 68 panchayats and soon process of setting more blocks would be started.

The CM honoured the next of the kin of the movement martyrs. The meeting was also addressed by MLA Mathura Mahto and Rekha Mandal.
