Jamshedpur, April 9: �Azad Mazdoor� has organized the release a book containing the overall literary contributions of Gangadhar �Kaushal�, the man known for laying foundation of journalism in Jamshedpur in the year 1949, at Dhalbhum Club in Sakchi on Sunday, April 10. The collection is titled �Dodhari Kalam.�
Kaushal was called by late Prof Abdul Bari from Patna to Jamshedpur and was appointed as the editor of INTUC newspaper �Majdoor Awaz.�
After the newspaper was shut down in 1953, he brought out a weekly newspaper �Azad Majdoor,� which and continued its publication till 1975. He passed away on May 2, 1975.
Kaushal was born on September 17, 1914 in Aminabad, Lucknow.
�Dodhari Kalam� will be released by Justice D N Upadhyay of Jharkhand High Court, while the session will be hosted famous journalist Balbir Dutt. Dr. Shanti Suman, Dr. C Bhsakar Rao, Dineshwar Prasad Singh Dinesh, Laxmi Nidhi, Kavi Kumar and others will also grace the occasion.
