Jamshedpur, Feb 8: A team of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) representatives today visited Government Middle School at Janigoda in Sarjamda where it informed teachers and students of constitutional rights and duties. DLSA representatives stressed on the rights of children and about the various facilities available for children under facilities run by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. The students were also informed about the free availability of nationwide emergency number 1098, good touch-bad touch, child marriage, child employment, POCSO Act, Right to Education (between ages 6 and 14 years) and child torture.
The DLSA team included PLVs Sunil Pandey, Arun Rajak, Lakhi Gorai, Jayanto Nandi, Krishna Kant Yadav, Seema Devi, Prakash Gorai and all the faculty members.
