Jamshedpur: Parmeshwar Bhagat, District Social Welfare Officer, East Singhbhum, today visited School of Hope and was very much impressed with the ongoing activities and the efforts of the management in taking care of mentally challenged students.
Bhagat assured to help the students and the school management by providing them necessary funds and infrastructure. He said the government was also running various welfare schemes for such children.
Rajnish Kumar, Senior Manager, Societies, Tata Steel and Member, Managing Committee of School of Hope and Shymala Raju, principal of the school, received him and students welcomed them with their band.
He saw them making candles, working on looms, doing drawing, painting and other vocational activities.
