Seraikela: MP Karia Munda who is also the chairman of district monitoring committee held a meeting today with senior officials of district administration and heads of different departments.
In the meeting Munda asked the district education superintendent to enlist names of the schools having toilets and drinking water facility through carrying out inspections. He directed the civil surgeon to ensure cent percent attendance of doctors in health centres.
Karia Munda cautioned that in the cases of irregularities in PM Gram Sadak Yojna stern action would be taken.
Pertaining to electrification project Munda said that Gammon India Limited is carrying out electrification projects in villages. However, reports of anomaly have reached the monitoring committee in which it was stated that bills on electrification were being charged in a faulty manner, even for places where no electrification is done. He ordered for an inquiry into the allegation.
The deputy commissioner on the occasion said that kerosene would be distributed on 17 and 27 every month while rice would be distributed among people on 15 and 25 each month.
