Jamshedpur: A felicitation programme for the district Congress president of East Singhbhum, Vijay Khan, was organized at Tilak Pustakalaya, Bistupur, on Wednesday.
Party members garlanded Khan and gave him a gift to acknowledge his successful performance as a team leader in the last three years.
In his address, Khan said the credits of his success as a leader should go to all party members. He said the party worked as a team and that it could achieve big goals only through unity and dedication.
Among others present on the occasion included state Congress general secretary Ramashraya Prasad, Usha Singh, KK Shukla, PN Jha, Usha Yadav, Avdhesh Singh, Aparna Guha and Santosh Pal.
