Jamshedpur: The East Singhbhum District Administration hosted a grand district-level felicitation ceremony at Rabindra Bhawan Auditorium in Sakchi to honour students who delivered exceptional performances in the 2026 board examinations conducted by JAC, CBSE, and ICSE boards.
During the event, Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan presented certificates of appreciation and mementos to the toppers and extended his best wishes for their future endeavours.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner stated that the students’ achievements reflected their dedication, discipline, and the continuous support of teachers and parents. He encouraged students to continue striving for excellence and move forward in life with determination and confidence.
Education department officials, school principals, teachers, parents, and a large number of students attended the ceremony.
CBSE Toppers Shine Bright
In the CBSE Class 10 examinations, Shreya Janpana claimed the district topper title with an impressive 98.6 percent marks.
Among Class 12 students:
- Shayer Datta secured 97.6 percent in Science
- Saleha Parveen secured 95.8 percent in Bio-Science
- Shreyanshi Dhal topped Commerce with 98.6 percent
- Pragya Sharma scored 98 percent in Arts
ICSE Students Deliver Outstanding Results
In the ICSE board examinations, Harshit Singhania secured 99.2 percent in Class 10.
In Class 12:
- Snehashree Biswas scored 99.5 percent in Science
- Shambhavi Tewari achieved a perfect 100 percent in Bio-Science
- Sandhya Sarkar secured 98.75 percent in Commerce
- Sneha Datta scored 98.25 percent in Arts
District Honors JAC Matric Toppers
In the JAC Matric examination, Om Kumar emerged as the district topper with 492 marks, equivalent to 98.4 percent.

- Shipra Pradhan – 97.6%
- Geeta Gorai – 97.2%
- Umesh Mandi – 97%
- Anamika Mahto – 97%
- Koyal Rani Shah – 97%
- Mohan Mahto – 96.8%

Strong Performance in JAC Intermediate Science
Krishna Roy and Saksham Mishra jointly secured first position in the JAC Intermediate Science stream with 476 marks, or 95.2 percent.

- Oshik Kumar Chaudhary – 94.8%
- Khushboo Saw – 93.8%
- Vikas Das – 93.4%
- Sadhana Kumari – 93.4%
- Ashu Patel – 93%
Commerce and Arts Students Also Excel
In the JAC Intermediate Commerce stream, Kriti Kumari became the district topper with 90.2 percent marks.
Other top scorers included:
- Deepa Patra – 89.4%
- Sajid Ansari – 88.4%
- Sadhana Kumari – 87.8%
- Aditi Singh – 87.6%
In the Arts stream, Rekha Kumari topped with 93.6 percent marks.
