Jamshedpur, April 26: With summer vacations round the corner the Aambagan Ground in Sakchi is being decked for the Fun World fair.
Disney Land is back to lure children and grown-ups of steel city alike. The fair which also boasts of events and textile expo along with numbers of joy rides will start on Friday, April 28 at Aam Bagan ground in Sakchi.
The fair will be inaugurated by the sub divisional officer of Dhalbhum Manoj Kumar Ranjan at 7.15 pm on Friday.
The special guest for the occasion will be DSP (City) Animesh Nethani, social worker Moolchand Sahu, Traffic DSP Vivekananda Thakur and Sakchi police station incharge Madan Kumar Sharma.
The fair organizer Chandrashekhar Parvat said the fair is based on Disneyland concept and we aim to provide all the remedies for entertainment.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Parvat said, there will be various items including traditional attire of all states of the country, handloom and handicraft items for sale during the fair.
The fair is being organized keeping in mind the upcoming summer holidays of children. Various joyrides will be there to entertain children at the fair, he added.
Mr. Parvat further said that various joy rides including Style of Moon, Octopus, Break Dance, Dragon Train, Tora-Tora etc will make for an entertaining evening for the children and adult of the steel city.
Several make shift restaurants will provide mouth watering delicacies, he added.
