Jamshedpur, April 6: A Disinfection Chamber has been set up at the MGM Hospital as another measure to check the infection of coronavirus. According to the Deputy Superintendent of the Hospital, the Disinfection Chamber has been specially set up for doctors and medical staff attending to patients in the isolation ward. Such doctors and medical staff will be moved to the Disinfection Chamber after they emerge from the isolation ward so that the chances of the virus on them are cleared.

The Deputy Superintendent further informed that even patients suspected of corona infection will be put through the Disinfection Chamber before being shifted to the isolation ward to prevent infection of patients already undergoing treatment there. He said that this new installation would enhance the protective measures already in place in the hospital.
