Dilapidated Shiv Mandir to be renovated by villagers

Jamshedpur, Jan. 17: The 200-year-old Shiv Mandir at Sudur vrati Donda village in Gamharia block which is in a dilapidated condition will be renovated by the locals.

On Tuesday, ground breaking ceremony of the mandir was held where priest performed the rituals. The Shiv Mandir which is a symbol of faith for the people of Donda and neighboring villages has seen villagers in large numbers worshipping Lord Shiv.

The villagers wanting to keep the memory of the ancestors alive have focused themselves to renovate the mandir for which former HR Head of Usha Martin DC Mahato, chief engineer of ONGC P Burman, Plant incharge of UM Cables Mritunjay Burman, BJP Leader Bimal Prasad and others are providing full support.

During the ground breaking ceremony Beer Singh Mahato, AjitVerma, Sharat Mahato, Lalit Narayan Sao, Shivcharan Sao, Hara Sardar, Rupesh Mahato, Swaroop Mahato, Anand Mahato, Dinesh Prasad and several villagers.
