Jamshedpur, March 21: Digital Jharkhand Week will be observed from March 24 to 30 with an aim to help reach the benefits to the beneficiaries with a week.
This was informed by DC Amit Kumar on Tuesday while heading a meet of the digital week organising committee at DC office. Deputy Commissioner informed that Digital East Singhbhum Week will be celebrated by the district administration. During the meeting, DC Amit Kumar directed the block development officers and bank representatives to achieve concrete goals during the week-long campaign.
DC asked the bank representatives to link all the PM Jan Dhan Yojana bank accounts opened on October 2, 2014 with Aadhaar and mobile numbers and achieve the 100 % target and also to issue RuPay cards to all the bank account holders of PM Jan Dhan.
DC Amit Kumar further said that all the issued and renewed KCC should be linked to RuPay cards.
DC went on to say that during the whole one week bank officials will work to link the bank accounts opened during the Jan Dhan Yojana with Aadhaar seeding, mobile number seeding, issuing the RuPay cards and help reach the benefits to the beneficiaries.
DC also held discussions on the per day activity during the Digital Jharkhand Week from March 24 to 30. He also directed the block development officers to closely monitor the event. Present during the meeting were DRDA Uma Mahato, Director NREP Ranjana Mishra, BDO and others.
