Dhanbad’s Abhimanyu Tibrewal tops Jharkhand in JEE Main 2025, aspires to pursue B.Tech from IIT Bombay

Jamshedpur: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of JEE Main 2025 Session-1 on Tuesday, with several students from Jharkhand achieving remarkable success. Dhanbad’s Abhimanyu Tibrewal emerged as the state topper, securing an impressive 99.99 percentile. He aspires to pursue a B.Tech degree from IIT Bombay.

Abhimanyu, a student of Montfort Academy, Rajganj, has been ranked 22nd in the list of national toppers released by the NTA. He had previously studied at Dhanbad Public School, Hirak Branch, up to Class 10, where he scored over 95% in his board exams. Abhimanyu resides with his parents at Garden City Apartments on LC Road. His father, Amit Tibrewal, is a businessman, while his mother, Poonam Tibrewal, is a homemaker.

In addition to Abhimanyu, several other students from the state have performed exceptionally well. Yash Kumar and Sahil Akash both secured 99.98 percentile, while Arnav Pandey scored 99.94 percentile. Aditya Mishra from Dhanbad achieved 99.93 percentile, and Garhwa’s Lavanya Bhaskar obtained 99.73 percentile. Vishesh, another student from Dhanbad, scored 99.23 percentile.

The JEE Main 2025 Session-1 exam was conducted in two shifts on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 across three examination centers in Ranchi. Approximately 10,000 students appeared for the exam at these centers. After the examination, NTA released the provisional answer key and invited objections. Following a review of the objections, the final results were published.
