Jamshedpur: Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) on Friday carried out raids at Jamshedpur based businessman cum hotelier and recovered gold and cash in large numbers.
According to reports, the raids were carried out at multiple locations connected to Jamshedpur-based businessman Vikas Jaisuka, owner of Rivaah Resort and Banquet in connection to GST evasion.

According to media reports, raids were conducted at Gaushala Road in Jugsalai, Adityapur and Mango.
Multiple teams of DGGI sleuths raided his hotel and residence in Jugsalai from where around 10 kg gold and around Rs 5 crore was seized.

According to reports, the DGGI officials were keeping a close watch on Jaisuka for his involvement in GST fraud.
Reports added that no local police or DGGI sleuths were involved to raid at locations connected with Jaisuka.
Members of DGGI team raiding the hoteliers hotel and residence were from Delhi and Kolkata offices.
Local officers are tight lipped about the raids carried out at Jaisuka’s residence.
According to information Joint director Sarthak Saxena was leading the raiding team and other officers including Roshan Mishra, Viraj Pandey and Roshan Jha were part of the raiding team.
The Avenue Mail tried to contact Vikas Jaisuka, however his phone was not reachable and nor did any city police officer confirmed about the raid.
