Noamundi : A spiritual journey to pilgrimage in the holy month of Shravan started on Monday as thousands of devotees of Lord Shiva thronged to Murga Mahadev a most divine place located at Odisha Jharkhnad border to offer holy water on Murga Mahadev on Monday .
The devotees collected holy water from Kuju river and Baitarny River and walked on bear foot to Murga Mahadev. The red soil, Saffron uniform and pilgrims Bal Bam Chanting blended the resonance of spiritual vibration in the atmosphere Murga Mahadev.
The devotees of Lord Shiva from Bhuvneswar , Anandapur Rairangpur , Jamshedpur, Gamharia , Saraikela Kharsawn , Kolkata and Chhatishgarh reached on Sunday to offer their holy water to the Shiva Phallic in the Murga Mahadev Temple on Monday .
Murga Mahadev Mandir Committee Member Veero Nayak said that around 25 thousands devotees poured holy water on Murga Mahadev.
The temple committee has made elaborate security arrangements by its male and female volunteers separate for male devotees and female devotees .
He added that the security arrangements made by the Odisha Government is in poor strength at present and we requested the Jharkhand Noamundi police to conduct patrolling at night .
He appealed the mines owner and both Jharkhand and Odisha Government to provide medical team during each Monday of Shravan Month.
He also requested the mines owner to suspend transporting on each Sunday and Monday during Shravan Month to avoid any untoward incident.
