Jamshedpur : An impressive Nagar Kirtan was taken out from Gurdwara Ram das Bhatta on the occasion of 350th Parkash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Panj Pyaras attired in traditional dress with unsheathed swords in their hands, led the holy Guru Granth Sahib kept in the specifically structured and decorated vehicle which treaded over the track properly cleaned and washed.
Men, women and children from all segments of the society participated in the procession. Preparations are in full swing to make the event historical.
“Guru Gobind Singh was a true son of India who through out his life span fought for the country and sacrificed everything for the country.
Before Sachkhand Gaman he proclaimed that “from today onwards; Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the Guru and it should be regarded as the embodiment and visible form of all the ten Gurus,” said another member of CGPC.
