Devi Puja at Madrasi Sammelani Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 22: In the auspicious month of Aadi (in Tamil), South Indian community normally perform Devi Puja.  In this direction, the Madrasi Sammelani today organised a Devi Puja in which women members performed Devi Puja in its premises.  As part of the proceedings 28 women members performed puja to the traditional lamp to the chanting of Sri Lalita Sahasranama.  Later on S Ramachandran, priest, accompanied by M V Siva, President, Sri Raman performed the puja and archana.  After the maha arati, Prasad was distributed to devotees by the managing committee members.
