Jamshedpur: In response to ongoing developmental works in the Adra Division of South Eastern Railway, several train services are set to be regulated to ensure the smooth execution of infrastructure enhancements. The following modifications to train schedules have been announced:
Cancellation of Trains: 08644/08643 Asansol-Adra-Asansol MEMU Special: The journey commencing on 21.01.2024 stands cancelled. 03594/03593 Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU Special: The journey commencing on 21.01.2024 will also be cancelled.
Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains: 08174/08652 Tatanagar-Asansol-Barabhum MEMU Special: The journey commencing on 21.01.2024 will be short terminated at Adra.
Rescheduling of Train: 13511 Tatanagar-Asansol Express: The journey commencing on 21.01.2024 will be rescheduled, departing from Tatanagar at 14:35 hrs. instead of the initially scheduled 13:20 hrs.
“These regulatory measures are imperative to facilitate ongoing developmental initiatives in the Adra Division. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our passengers during this period,” stated [Official Spokesperson], South Eastern Railway.
“Works and improvements are being carried out for the enhancement of railway infrastructure. The temporary regulation of train services is a necessary step to ensure the safety and efficiency of these development projects,” explained an official of South Eastern Railway.
