Ranchi: Reviewing complaints during the Seedhi-Baat program at Soochana Bhawan, Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday said that people are the masters in democracy and their complaints should be sorted out soon with transparency within a timeframe. He heard 17 complaints and asked the state authorities concerned to dispose the same at the earliest.
Das said that the people�s problems are being sorted out at Jan Samvad and people are given vital information through this platform. It also helps in smooth governance, he said.
With reference to ex-Hazaribag MLA Saurabh Narayan Singh allegedly selling the government land, the CM directed the DC to install Jharkhand Government�s signboard on the said government land and initiate legal proceedings against the encroachers.
Regarding the case of one Subhash Kumar�s daughter who reportedly went missing from Bokaro, the CM directed the police authorities concerned to publish the girl�s photo in the newspapers of Varanasi as the Bokaro SP had told him that the mobile number of one of the suspects was traced in UP. The CM directed police to arrest the culprit at the earliest.
The CM directed the state authorities concerned to give Rs. 1 lakh compensation to the dependent of Gautam Kumar Pandey who was killed in the year 2007 by naxal Uday Oraon at Bhandra. Moreover, he directed to give compensation to the dependent of late Sahabuddin Sarajuddin Khan, a victim of terror attacks in Mumbai in 2008. He said that the allotment fund will be sent.
The CM also directed the nodal officer to appoint the dependent of Maoist violence victim Ashok Mahato in Gumla ambush. The dependent Sheela Devi requested to appoint her in the civil department instead of police department to which the CM gave his consent.
On this occasion, Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar, Secretary to the CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal and PRD Director Rajiv Lochan Bakshi were present.
