Deputy Mukhiyas protest before Jamshedpur block office

Jamshedpur: The deputy Mukhiyas of several panchayats of Jamshedpur block organized a demonstration before the local block office to protest alleged attempts on part of few Mukhiyas to implicate their deputies. They alleged that the Mukhiyas had threatened to implicate several deputy Mukhiyas in corruption and other criminal cases. They said some of the Mukhiyas had also threatened to implicate their deputies on charges of harassing and torturing people belonging to SC and ST categories. A 13-point memorandum was handed over to the BDO Parul Singh.
Among those present on the occasion included Satyavir Singh, Sunil Gupta, Manko Hembram, Birju Patro, Debu Gope, Bablu Karua, Chanchal Srivastava, Anuradha Sharma, Reena Mandal, Kumud Yadav and Shankar Yadav.
