Deputy Mayor Rahul Kashyap Meets Mayor Sudha Gupta, Charts Development Roadmap for Mango

Jamshedpur, March 18: In a significant step towards strengthening urban governance, newly elected Deputy Mayor of Mango Rahul Kashyap paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Sudha Gupta, where the two leaders held an in-depth discussion on the comprehensive development of Mango.
The meeting centered on addressing pressing civic issues, accelerating ongoing projects, and ensuring effective implementation of upcoming development plans. Both leaders engaged in a constructive dialogue on the current functioning of the municipal body and reviewed progress across various wards.
Key focus areas included improving sanitation, tackling drinking water shortages, strengthening road infrastructure, and enhancing street lighting systems. With summer approaching, special emphasis was laid on ensuring uninterrupted water supply. Discussions highlighted the need to increase the number of water tankers and streamline pipeline systems to prevent shortages in vulnerable areas.
Deputy Mayor Rahul Kashyap lauded the efforts undertaken by the municipal corporation under Mayor Sudha Gupta’s leadership. He stressed the importance of unity among elected representatives, stating that coordinated efforts are essential to achieve sustainable development in Mango. He expressed confidence that with collective action and better coordination, the civic body would scale new heights in public service delivery.
Mayor Sudha Gupta reiterated that the administration’s foremost priority is the timely and lasting resolution of public grievances. She emphasized that transparency and accountability remain central to all development initiatives. Calling for collective responsibility, she urged councillors and officials to work in close coordination to transform Mango into a clean, organized, and progressive urban center.
She also revealed that the municipal corporation is working on establishing a structured system to ensure time-bound redressal of citizens’ complaints. Appealing to residents for active participation, she underscored the importance of public cooperation in driving the city’s development agenda.
Former minister Banna Gupta, who was present at the meeting, described the interaction as a positive and strategic step towards making Mango one of the best municipal bodies in the region. He noted that such engagements would foster better coordination and inject fresh momentum into development efforts.
Among others present during the meeting were Upendra Singh Mastan and several other dignitaries, marking the occasion as a collaborative push towards a more efficient and responsive civic administration.
