Dengue continues to wreak havoc in Jharkhand

Ranchi: Dengue continues to wreak havoc in the capital. The most dangerous situation is in the Hindpidhi region. The number of dengue patients coming from India is increasing. The problem can be guessed from the fact that dengue patients are not getting space in Anjuman Hospital. As a result, they are being referred to Government Sadar Hospital. According to the figures given to the media by the management of Anjuman Hospital, 55 to 60 people are found to be infected with dengue out of 100 people examined. Most of the dengue patients are at home and some patients are being treated at home. At the same time, some dengue patients are being treated in private hospitals, but the number of dengue victims is being recorded less in the official data.

Twenty-two new cases of dengue have been reported in the state on Wednesday. These include 14 patients from Deoghar, 5 from Saraikela, 4 from Dhanbad, 3 from Dumka, and 1 from Pakur. Apart from this, 17 dengue victims are being treated in the isolation ward of Rims and 27 in the government Sadar Hospital.

According to data released by the health department, there are only 36 confirmed dengue cases in the state, including 20 in Deoghar, 5 in Saraikela, 4 in Dhanbad, 3 in Dumka, 2 in Ramgarh, and 2 in West Singhbhum. 60 to 70 dengue patients have been admitted in the capital’s private hospitals.
