Demonstration at Power Department Office

Jamshedpur : Demonstrations were held under the leadership of INTUC state secretary Ambuj Kumar on various demands at the office of the electricity department in Adityapur. Ambuj informed that underground cabling is being done in Adityapur Municipal Corporation area by the Electricity Department. During this time the connection of many people is being cut, which is causing problems to the consumers.

At the same time, an amount of more than Rs 5000 is being demanded from new consumers in the Adityapur Corporation area in the name of electricity connection. A one-day demonstration has been held at the department office to diagnose all these problems. A large number of settlers attended the demonstration. After the demonstration, Ambuj Kumar spoke to the GM of the Electricity Department to reduce the amount of new connections and urged that common consumers should not be disturbed during the cabling work.
