Demand to remove closed toilet

Jamshedpur: A delegation comprising the residents of Khuntadih, Sonari, met the special officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC), Sanjay Kumar, on Saturday to demand removal of the toilet lying closed in the old community building in the area. The residents said it was proving difficult for them to live in the area under unbearable smell emanating from the toilet that was closed long back. They further demanded that the toilet be pulled down and replaced by an anganbari centre that would be more useful for the residents. Among those present on the occasion included Malti Karmakar, Doli Karmakar, Manju Mahato, Renu Mahato and Mahavir Karmakar.
