Demand to cancel sub lease

Jamshedpur : A delegation of Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry handed over a memorandum to DC demanding cancelation of those sub-leases which have flouted the norms.

For the record, between 2006 and 2011, after Tata Steel lease was renewed by the state government in 2005, 59 parties had been granted the steel major�s sublease by the district administration after a nod from the Appropriate Machinery Committee (AMC)- a government-sponsored panel that decides on the allotment of Tata Steel sublease land.

The chamber alleged that the lease norms have been violated. On the occasion, Mohanlal Agrawal and Harvinder Singh was present.
