Demand rises for BPL cards, old age and widow pension

Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur Parents Association on Thursday took out a procession demanding BPL cards, old age pension and widow pension from Sakchi.

President Umesh Kumar led a demonstration protesting at the DeputyCommissioner’s office on the same demands. A memorandum was also handed a letter to the Deputy Commissioner by the association.

They demanded facilities for isolated settlements inhabited areas like Sakchi New Baradwari Gandhi Ashram Devnagar, Ramjnmnagar of Kdma, Rupnagar, Khusbunagar, Birsanagar, Brmamains who fall below the poverty line.
