Jamshedpur: A demand for removal of the state human resource development minister Gitashri Oraon by the state Cabinet has been raised by members of Bhojpuriya Beyar, Jamshedpur.
The outfit members handed over a memorandum addressed to the governor of Jharkhand to the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum on Saturday.
The outfit members alleged that the anti-Bihari statements given by the minister had hurt the sentiments of several lakh people speaking Bhojpuri, Magahi and other languages of Bihar.
