Jamshedpur, Nov 7: JVM central committee general secretary Abhay Singh has demanded the suspension of Junior Engineer PK Thakur for violating the transfer order issued to him for Ranchi on October 23, 2019 and his continued stay here in this office. Singh also accused the JE of neglecting his work and canvassing for the BJP. Terming Thakur�s overstaying in the city instead of reporting to his new place of posting at Ranchi and canvassing for the BJP as �nefarious,� The JVM central committee general secretary stated that he had put in a complaint to the East Singhbhum Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ravishankar Shukla demanding Junior Engineer PK Thakur�s immediate transfer so that the Assembly elections could be held peacefully, fearlessly and fairly. Abhay Singh told Ravishankar Shukla that officials like Thakur made mockery of government instructions and that the JE should be immediately handed suspension orders.
Speaking to the media in front of the JNAC office, the JVM central committee general secretary Abhay Singh said, �Under whose backing is Junior Engineer PK Thakur continuing to willfully neglect his transfer order served on him on October 23, 2019? There is the protective hand of Chief Minister Raghubar Das over his head that the JE is caring two hoots for the transfer order and continuing to work for the BJP instead of concentrating on his work. Such persons should be posted outside the Kolhan Region. Such acts give birth to corruption.�
