Saraikela, Dec 5: Kharsawan legislator Dashrath Gagrai has written to the General Manager of South Eastern Railway demanding the resumption of the Chakradharpur-Tatanagar and Barbil-Tatanagar passenger train services as their discontinuation was causing workers and general people a lot of inconvenience. Gagrai pointed out in his letter that workers and general people from Chakradharpur, Barabambo, Mahalimurup, Rajkharsawan, Sini, Pandrasole Chaibasa and other areas on the trains’ route who constituted daily passengers visiting Adityapur and Jamshedpur could not find viable alternative to the two passenger trains. The legislator stated that many among the daily passengers were workers employed in factories in the Adityapur, Gamharia and Jamshedpur industrial areas who were finding it difficult to attend to their jobs. Based on the pointers Kharsawan legislator Dashrath Gagrai has demanded the resumption of the two passenger trains at the earliest.
