Demand for rehabilitation of displaced traders

Jamshedpur: Youth Congress committee leaders on Wednesday demanded measures by the district administration to rehabilitate the footpath traders displaced during the recently held anti-encroachment drive by the district administration near ABM College in Golmuri.

Youth Intuc secretary Rakesh Sahu alleged that no action was taken by the district administration authorities regarding rehabilitation of the displaced vendors and traders as yet. He said Chief Minister Raghubar Das had recently visited the city and ordered rehabilitation of the displaced traders at Circus Maidan, Golmuri. But till date, the district administration has not yet rehabilitated the traders.
