Ranchi: A delegation led by the MLA of Nirsa Arup Chatterjee met Chief Minister Hemant Soren today and demanded setting up of a university in Dhanbad. The MLA said the state government should establish a Koyalanchal University in Dhanbad for the bright future of the local students.
Members of Koyalanchal University Sangharsh Samiti too, met the CM and raised the demand for university. The Nirsa MLA said the demand for Koyalanchal University was not a new one. He said the state government should not ignore the demand as it was directly related to the future of students.
