Ranchi, August 6: Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba directed the officers to fix 45 days period for the publication & supply of academic books of std. 1 to 5.
He also directed to publish single tender on district level for the purchase of different materials including logistics & equipments and said that it can be submitted at any of the Kasturba Gandhi Girls schools within stipulated time. He said it while addressing the 41st meeting of State Executive Committee of Jharkhand Siksha Pariyojana Parishad.
Chief Secretary said that admission committees have been reconstituted in Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools. He said that girls from Mahila Samakhaya, NGOs at block level, naxal affected areas, recommended list of trafficked girls, scheduled tribes, lists obtained from members of school managing committee & un-admitted girls as informed & recommended by already studying girls will be admitted in this school. He laid stress on reconstituting purchase process & purchase committee in Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools.
He said that the Union Govt. will be consulted after analyzing the honorarium of Para Teachers of different states. At the same time, he informed that in the light of Employees Provident Fund Act 1952, the Govt. has decided to increase the share of the employer under Employees Provident Fund from Rs. 6500 to Rs. 15,000 per month for the staff working on contract against approved posts under Sarva Siksha Abhiyan of Jharkhand Siksha Pariyojana Parishad.
Mr. Gauba said that the delegated financial power to Jharkhand Siksha Pariyojana Parishad officers has been amended from Rs. 25 thousand to Rs. 1.5 lakh for Admn. Officer, Rs. 50 lac to Rs. 1 crore for State Project Director & more than Rs. 1 crore has been delegated to the Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department respectively.
Principal Secretary, Finance Amit Khare, Secretary, Science & Technology Ajay Kr. Singh, Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department Mrs. Aradhana Patnayak, Director, National Health Mission Ashish Sinhmar, Director, Jharkhand Siksha Pariyojana Parishad, State Chief, UNICEF Vinay Patnayak & other officers were present in the meeting.
