Delhi World Public School Purulia invites Jamshedpur parents to visit campus ahead of admissions

25-acre CBSE Residential School by Kushal Group focuses on holistic learning

Jamshedpur, Jan 11: The Kushal Educational Group has taken a significant step towards strengthening rural education by establishing Delhi World Public School (DWPS) in Purulia, West Bengal. The initiative aims to provide quality, globally benchmarked residential education and bridge the urban–rural education gap for students from Purulia, Jamshedpur, and surrounding regions.

DWPS has invited parents to personally visit the campus before taking admission decisions.

Addressing a press meet at Chamber Bhawan on Sunday, Naresh Agarwal, Chairman of Kushal Bharat Group, which operates the school, and Principal Sudha Singh shared detailed information about the institution’s vision, infrastructure, curriculum and residential facilities. They encouraged parents from Jamshedpur to visit the Purulia campus to get a first-hand experience of the school’s academic environment, management system and overall student welfare arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion, Agarwal said Delhi World Public School, Purulia, is fast emerging as a regional centre of excellence and a preferred choice for parents seeking a balanced, globally aligned education for their children. He explained that the school follows the innovative “Dipsites Pedagogy System,” which combines modern teaching methods and technology with traditional Indian values. “Our aim is to create an environment where excellence is not pursued occasionally but becomes a habit,” he said.

The school follows CBSE curriculum and is equipped with smart classrooms and well-designed laboratories for science, mathematics. To prepare students for future technologies, a dedicated robotics lab has also been set up. Agarwal said the institution goes beyond the concept of a conventional school and focuses on creating a holistic learning ecosystem for students.

Highlighting residential facilities, the management said DWPS Purulia has been designed as a “home away from home” for students. The residential campus provides safe and secure accommodation with 24×7 supervision, trained staff, clean surroundings and nutritious meals to ensure students’ physical and emotional well-being.

The school also places strong emphasis on all-round development. Various clubs, including speech, culinary arts and heritage clubs, are operational to nurture creativity and confidence among students. In addition, professional-level sports facilities such as horse riding, archery, swimming, cricket and football are available to encourage physical fitness and sportsmanship.

Agarwal added that the initiative reflects the Kushal Bharat Group’s long-standing commitment to community development, particularly in Purulia and the Jharkhand–Bengal border regions. “Our goal is to make world-class residential education accessible to children from Jamshedpur and nearby areas, close to their homes,” he said.

Principal Sudha Singh said the school believes in nurturing inquisitive and curious minds in a supportive environment. “Delhi World Public School is a community where modern facilities meet traditional values. We aim to prepare innovative thinkers and compassionate leaders who can face the challenges of a rapidly changing world,” she said. She added that the school seeks to bridge the gap between traditional education and global competencies through holistic development and state-of-the-art infrastructure.
