Delegation of Muslim organisations meet Jharkhand CM

Ranchi, June 19: The joint delegation of Jamiat-Ulema Jharkhand, Anjuman Islamia, Imarat-e-Shariah and Edar-e-Shariah met the Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Ranchi on Sunday. 

The delegation apprised the Chief Minister about the violence in the capital Ranchi on June 10 and the facts related to it. It said that they are standing with the government at every step for maintaining an atmosphere of peace, peace and harmony in the entire state including Ranchi. People of all classes and sections have always lived here with mutual love and brotherhood and no one will be allowed to disturb it. They told the Chief Minister that action should be taken against those found guilty in the violence in Ranchi and justice should be done to the families of those killed. 

Significantly, two youths were killed, allegedly in police firing after protest against now axed BJP leaders Nupur Sharma and Navin Jindal at Ranchi after Friday namaz turned violent along Main Road. 

Section 144 of CrPC is still imposed in few places of Ranchi.
