Jamshedpur, April 8: Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy has written to the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Karn Satyarthi urging the later for immediate implementation of pending development projects under the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) and Mango Municipal Corporation.
In his letter, Roy requested the district administration to expedite the execution of approved schemes and ensure administrative clearance for projects awaiting approval at the Urban Development Department.
He highlighted that as many as 50 projects in the JNAC area, recommended by him and approved by the District Planning Selection Committee, remain stalled despite their foundation stones being laid on March 14, 2026, following completion of the tender process.
Similarly, 81 projects in the Mango Municipal Corporation area, which were inaugurated on December 30, 2025, are yet to commence.
Roy further pointed out that five projects worth approximately Rs 3.32 crore have already received technical approval after preparation of estimates but are still pending administrative sanction at the departmental level for a prolonged period.
He urged the Deputy Commissioner to intervene and direct the concerned authorities to fast-track both approvals and on-ground execution to ensure timely delivery of public welfare schemes.
