Death weapon recovered in Jamshedpur murder case

Jamshedpur, Sept 4: Police recovered the death weapon used in the murder of 18 year old truck cleaner Zeeshan Sheikh in Azadnagar a day after the crime on Wednesday.

Sources said one Ibrahim alias Babban had stabbed Zeeshan around 12.30 pm at Road Number 8, Hussaini Mohulla, near Baganshahi Urdu Primary School following a petty dispute with him. The dispute started when the accused demanded Rs 10 and a cigarette from the deceased. Zeeshan allegedly hit Ibrahim with his fist. In no time, Ibrahim attacked Zeeshan with a knife. The victim was critically injured in the incident. He was declared dead on reaching MGM Hospital, sources said.

A day after the murder, SP City Subhash Jaat visited the crime scene and inquired about the incident. An FIR was registered against Ibrahim on the complaint of Ahmad Raza, brother-in-law of the deceased.

The deceased was a native of Firozabad. He used to stay at his brother-in-law�s residence.
