Dead bodies on Railway Tracks in Chaibasa: Family dispute led to murder, five arrested 

Jamshedpur: The police succeeded to unfold the mystry behind recovery of dead bodies of a man her woman and two children were discovered dead on the railway tracks between Kendposi Iligaka station.
The incident came to light on February 17, 2024, at 07:00 am, when Station Master Purnachandra Ichagutu received a distressing report. Subsequent investigations by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jagannathpur revealed a grim scene – an unidentified woman and her children had fallen victim to what appears to be a meticulously planned murder, staged to resemble a suicide.
The deceased were later identified as Roybari Sinku (35 years old), her husband Binu Sinku, and their children. The surviving daughter provided crucial information leading to the registration of a case (No. 04/24) at Hatgamharia police station, citing sections 302/201/34 IPC.
Recognizing the sensitivity and gravity of the situation, a special investigation team, led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jagannathpur, was swiftly assembled to expedite the inquiry.
The investigation culminated on February 18, 2024, with the apprehension of the accused individuals – Mangal Singh Sinku, Jogen Sinku, Dupara Sinku, Motra Sinku, and Soma Sinku. The arrests were made following a comprehensive scientific investigation and raid, during which the alleged perpetrators confessed to their involvement in the crime.
The motive behind the brutal act was revealed to be a longstanding family dispute, centering around the share of a tamarind tree. The assailants admitted to using wooden sticks as weapons during the altercation.
The raiding team, comprising officials including Assistant Superintendent of Police Amit Anand, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jagannathpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pradeep Kumar, and others, demonstrated a coordinated effort to bring the accused to justice.
This tragic incident highlights the need for community vigilance and emphasizes the role of law enforcement in swiftly addressing heinous crimes. The accused are now set to face legal proceedings as the community grapples with the aftermath of this shocking event.
Arrested accused (1) Mangal Singh Sinku, aged about 32 years, ( 2) Motra Sinku aged 23 (3) Jogen Siku, aged about 22 years, father about 20 years, father – Late Sukhram Siku (5) Dupara Sinku , age around 31 years, father Tola Chetansai (Upertola), Police Station Hatgamharia, District – P. Singhbhum, Chaibasa Chamru.
Raiding Team:  Amit Anand Assistant Superintendent of Police, Rakesh Nandan Mij Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jagannathpur, Pradeep Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Pr.) cum Police Station Incharge, Toto Police Station, Vipin Chandra Mahato Police Station Incharge, Jetiya, Baleshwar Oraon police station in-charge Hatgamhariya,  Ravi Ranjan Police Station Incharge Jheekpani.
