Saraikela, Jan 31: DDC Sanjay Kumar today met Padma Shri Guru Shashadhar Acharya at the latter�s residence in Saraikela. It was a goodwill visit. DDC Sanjay Kumar congratulated the Chhou Guru for his recognition and discussed many issues pertaining to this tribal form of dance for which Guru Shashadhar has dedicated his life�s experience to usher in newer talents on the greater national and international platforms.
The Chhou Guru took the DDC around his house complete with a dance hall for trainees, library, residential accommodation for students and visiting artistes and various items that are requisites for Chhou dance forms.
The DDC was very happy to learn about Shashadhar Acharya�s endeavor. Sanjay Kumar, while lauding the Padma Sri Awardee urged him to continue his zeal and quest for new talents so that they too could bring laurels for the nation and the state.
