Jamshedpur, Nov 6: DDC, East Singhbhum Parmeshwar Bhagat presided a Janata Darbar organized at the Baharagora Block office. 41 applications for various government schemes were received in the course of the Darbar which were to be forwarded for scrutiny and onward formalities.
The DDC presented Blind Sticks to Ambu Sheet and Shambhu Sheet, a tricycle to Tarak Giri and a crutch to Sushil Chandra Pal. He also planted saplings in the Block office premises.
Among the applications collected during the Janata Darbar were 21 for widow pension out of which one was sanctioned on the spot, one each for widow and physically challenged person’s pension, nine for PMAY, two for land verification, two for land measurement, one for online Khatian issue, two for transfer of names and one petition on land dispute.
Those present on the occasion were BDO Rajesh Kumar Sahu, Circle Inspector Haradhan Madina, Revenue Department employees, Junior Engineer, lady supervisor of Child Welfare Project and applicants and beneficiaries.
After attending the Janata Darbar in Baharagora Block office, DDC Parmeshwar Bhagat went to Gamharia village in Sakra Panchayat and inspected the houses under construction under PMAY. He directed the beneficiaries to complete the construction within the specified time.
During his meeting with the Mukhiyas, Panchayat Secretaries and Rozgaar Sevaks, he reviewed the pending projects under PMAY and MGNREGA. He also asked them to increase the number of man days in the second phase of the projects.
