Jamshedpur, April 16: After surprise inspection of PDS godown, KGBV under Musabani block, Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav reached CHC Musabani late on Saturday night.
The Deputy Commissioner inquired about the cleanliness of the hospital premises, ward and the medical facilities being provided to the villagers, as well as met the malaria victims of Suryabeda and came to know about the improvement in their health.
It may be noted that three days back, the health department team reached Suryabeda with a force on Friday when several malaria patients surfaced in the remote Suryabeda village. 10 people were found suffering from malaria in the village, investigation found all affected by pf malaria which is fatal. Everyone is being treated by bringing CHC by ambulance.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner instructed to take special care of malaria patients, ensure proper food and proper treatment. As per the orders of the Deputy Commissioner, DDT spraying and distribution of mosquito nets have been done today in Malaria affected Suryabeda. The civil surgeon told that the malaria victims will be monitored for the next 10 days, the team will also visit the village to check if any new malaria victims are coming forward.
