Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar on Saturday reviewed preparations for the Swachh Sarvekshan Rural 2018. He said the survey would be conducted in rural areas of the district from 1st August to 30th August.
The DC said the Swach Sarvekshan team would conduct survey at five places in the villages of every panchayat. A number of benchmarks have been set for the survey.
Based on the survey results, first, second and third place holder district and state would be honoured in New Delhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 2nd October, said the DC.
The DC directed all block development officials to create mass awareness on the upcoming campaign.
