Seraikela: The deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan Chhavi Ranjan held a review of compensation given so far to people under the Prevention of Atrocities against SC and ST Act in the year 2017-18.
He sought a detailed report regarding all old cases from the police department. He said the bank details of victims should be known so that payment of compensation may be made to them.
He said the phone number and address of victims should be found out correctly.
A total of five cases were reviewed by the DC in today�s meeting. So far a compensation amount of Rs 75,000 has been calculated to be given to three of the victims under the said Act, source said.
