Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar convened a meeting on Monday to review implementation of the 59 minute loan scheme of the Central government. He said the progress made by banks in giving loans to entrepreneurs was below satisfaction level. He said the banks should pass as many loan applications as possible. He set a target of passing 220 loan applications by 20th November.
The DC said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was himself monitoring success of the said scheme. He said the banks should perform well in giving Mudra loans. He directed Bank of India officials to organize a camp for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Adityapur on 16th and 17th November.
