Jamshedpur, July 4: DC Amit Kumar on Monday directed the district agricultural officer to ensure no black marketing of seed-fertilizer while taking information about the availability and description of Grain, Oilseeds and Pulses seeds.
Heading a district level Kharif Task Force meeting, DC said, the concerned officials to form a team and keep an eye on the licensed shops while the availability and price table should be displayed at the shops.
Kumar reviewed the Seed compost, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, fishery etc.
DC also ordered to send message of price of seed compost and other related to the mobile number of farmers listed in the Kisan portal. He further said that all the 823 farmers friends should be provided 100 each KCC application form so that it can reach the farmers.
The silled in application should be received by July 15 and handed it over to the banks. ‘To make the farmers loan distribution more simple, a loan mega camp will be put up at district headquarter along with all the blocks’, added DC Amit Kumar.
DC asked the district bank management to provide loans to minimum 25 thousands farmers of the district against the application of 80 thousand.
DC asked the cooperatives officer to link all the farmers to Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Kharif) and gave targets till July 25. At the meeting DDC, DPRO and representatives of concerned departments were present.
