Chaibasa, Sept 12: West Singhbhum DC Abu Bacquer Siddique on Saturday ordered inquiry into handpumps installed by agency under disaster management.
According to reports, a case has come into light that single handpump has been installed by several agencies. DC said, urban drinking water project should be started at the earliest.
He also reviewed several works relayed to Swach Bharat Abhiyan (Rural). At the meet he said that private toilets construction in Gudri Block of Chakradharpur division is very low.
He ordered to meet the quarterly target and toilet construction in Gudri block should be given to mistry and take help of women help groups to bring speed in the work.
At the meet DDC along with other administrative officials were present.
