Seraikela: The deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan Hansraj Singh paid an inspection visit to Primary School, Dumardih, along with the district superintendent of education Suresh Chandra Ghosh.
He was not satisfied with the mid-day meal scheme implementation in the school. He instructed the school authorities to take necessary measures to bring about improvement in the scheme implementation.
The DC ordered issuance of show-cause notice to absent teachers of Kasturba Gandhi Residential School, Rajnagar, and New Primary School in Majhladavna.
Salaries will be deducted in case the teachers are found guilty of playing truant, the DSE said.
The DC also visited Rajnagar Hospital and asked the chief medical officer to take necessary action to improve the functioning of the hospital.
