Jamshedpur, March 8: Three-day Mega Industrial and Engineering Expo (INDEXPO) began at G Town Ground in Bistupur on Friday, March 9. Organized by a Adityapur-based Indore Infoline Pvt Ltd the expo was inaugurated by East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Amit Kumar in presence of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ashok Bhalotia, BJP district President Dinesh Kumar and others.
The expo aimed at maximizing opportunities for entrepreneurs, there would be talks on engineering and manufacturing innovations apart from the exhibition.
About 100 companies, representing all segments of the industry, are participating in the event.
RK Agrawal, managing director, Indore Infoline, said that they are working to promote the skill development of the locals and will continue to do so ahead. He also said that the fair will dwell comprehensively on issues related to growth of industry, state and the local people.
Representatives from several leading organisations including Tata Motors, Hitachi, several leading realtors, power tools manufacturers, healthcare and consumer durable companies have put up their products at the expo.
�The expo, which gives a platform to units to display products, advertise, disseminate industry-related information, focus on business presentations and discussions, networking between industry and suppliers and moreover interact between users and manufacturers,� said a member of organising committee.
